Finally, I managed to take some photos and write down the recipe for one of my favourite dishes. Yummy, warming, delicious soul-food lasagna stuffed with all kinds of veggies, filled with red and white sauce, and topped with a creamy yet crispy ‘cheese’ crust.
After our Zwiebelkuchen and Fig & Berry Dessert turned out so nicely, my friend Joanna and me keep cooking together regularly. This delicious soup recipe, created by Joanna, is just the perfect winter food – warming, nourishing, healthy and still super delicious. I especially like the combination of potatoes and sweet potatoes, but you can also do it with only one of them.
It’s finally winter in Berlin and I was craving a bowl of warm, healthy and delicious food after work when I had to think of Chili con Carne. I haven’t had it for ages and never did a vegan version by myself, so it was time to give it a try. This one here is free from processed foods, additives or other artificial flavours – instead it is filled with delicious veggies, tofu and spices. It only takes about 20 minutes to prepare and is super simple.
Oh, it’s been a while since my last post… The last weeks have been busy and exciting – my first cake sale at the Voodoo Market, Christmas preparations and actually going home for Christmas, moving in with my boyfriend, New Year’s and then I’ve been off to a week of snowboarding in Austria. Well, to sum it all up, here are some pretty pictures for you.
Wow, sorry for not posting for so long – I’ve been really busy over the past two weeks as I’ve started to work at the Albert Schweitzer Stiftung für unsere Mitwelt finally, yeah! It’s a foundation that informs people about animal rights and welfare, the circumstances in agriculture and of course about vegan diets and nutrition. I’m so happy there, this is exactly what I want to do. I’m in the research department doing literature search, writing articles, dealing with recipes, vegan nutrition, health and psychological strategies for campaigning and marketing. Ok, now on to the new recipe ; )
