Hearty vegan Shepherd’s Pie

A vegan version of Shepherd’s Pie was on my virtual to-cook-list for ages – so here it is! As I’ve never eaten a ‘traditional’ meat one and this was my Shepherd’s Pie premiere, I can’t say if this one tastes similar or is even close – but it’s a great plant-based, savoury version that will warm you up and is easy to make. Peanut Curry Noodles or my very loose interpretation of Pad Thai

I love Asian food. And coconut milk. And peanuts. So why not throw them all together, make a dish out of it and be reminded of exotic places in the middle of Berlin winter?! I gave it a try and I’m quite happy about the result. It’s got a nice texture and will leave you warm and full of memories or dreams about the sun, traveling and foreign destinations.

Pumpkin Lasagna with Mushrooms and Cinnamon

Yeah, it’s autumn (ok, almost close to winter) and that means it’s pumpkin and soul food time! As I love lasagna, mushrooms and pumpkin, I had to throw everything together, top it with a creamy sauce and refine it with something special like cinnamon – et voilà, here’s a perfect warming and comforting dinner.
